Day 1 -- a Lesson in Waiting Patiently!

Carol and Danny arrived at MD Anderson around 8:00 to begin tests, and waiting, more tests, and more waiting. All tests were positive and she was pronounced "good to go". And then, more waiting! They checked into her room after 6 pm. It is now after 8 and she's not expected to start the chemo for several more hours.

At this point Carol is expecting to stay 2 nights in the hospital and come home on Saturday. And all she wants to do is watch a movie. I hope she can find a good one!

But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength.
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

    Hello! my dear, old friends and neighbors, the Taylor clan. How the Lord has blessed you that all your precious, dear children have all grown up to be even more so, and your family extended is still so united. These are difficult times, BUT... WE WILL by GOD'S WILL all get through them with you, and I count myself so blessed to be able to be a part of your prayer warriors, these updates of your journey and having opportunity to help. In thanksgiving for your friendship and to honor the Lord who brought us together so many years ago, I want to share these scriptures for reminders and hope of just who we are and who our Lord is:

    26.Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28. And we know that all things work together for good to them who love God; to them who are the called according to His purpose. 29. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them He also called; and whom He called, them He justified; and whom He justified, them He also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things?     I pray to the Lord, what I already know, that He will carry you, Carol and Danny, through these coming days so gently, tenderly and assuringly, and I ask you...please let Him! Most fondly and in the body of Him, Carol Trahan
